What I learned about the WP-admin panel in Chapter 2

• When you log in, you are directed to the dashboard.
• There is an admin bar and a screen options tab.
• On the left is the main menu.
• The top menu and the main menu exist on every page.
• There is a welcome panel that allows one-click access to crucial sections.
• General blog information can be changed in settings.

Three new things I learned about blogs from Chapter 3

• WordPress uses block-based editing.
• The editor consists of three main sections:
  • The main canvas
  • The settings sidebar
  • The top menu bar
• Once categories are created, they can be easily selected via a checkbox.
